Music

I have been told that I have an excellent taste of music from a few people. I love music, music inspires me but I do not claim that it is my ‘life’ there is more to life than music.

I don’t like the R ‘n’ B scene in this day of age, I find that all american rappers sound the complete same and do the same stuff all over again. However, I do like my fair share of Rap though or Grime whatever the genre’s called in todays society. Only a small amount though. I find myself listening to the genres of Punk, Rock, Indie (yes that goes for Indie Rock as well), Soul, Reggae, Ska, Grunge, Country (just Johnny Cash, and maybe that hit Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus, Oh God how I am ashamed!) I’ll listen to anything really other than anyone playing Slipknot to me. Seriously do not attempt to play Slipknot when I’m around *shivers* pardon my dislike, but I’d rather gouge my eyes out than listen to some mentally deranged person screaming and screeching nonsense at the top of their voices “rockin’” out on stage. Please spare me the thought.

I’m a very big fan of Morrissey, Lily Allen and John Lydon have been for some time now. Morrissey because of his sarcastic wit in his lyrics, those tongue in cheek jab at things (think of Frankly, Mr. Shankly for all you Smiths fans out there) ahh I loved him in the Smiths him and Johnny Marr were the iconic ones out of the whole band… anyway let’s move on to Lily Allen! I first listened to Smile and thought ‘wow she sounds really good’ it started off from there really I’ve got all of her songs, got some of the clothes too that she brought out in New Look I like her style, although it’s only her that suits it. John Lydon a.k.a Johnny Rotten I loved him in the Sex Pistols (that still remain my favourite punk band) now don’t get me started on Anarchy….

Anyway, here are a some artists/bands that I listen to, the ones that are in bold are favourited
